Who Can Attend?
- 12-18 year old players.Groups will be separated based on age closer to the combine. ALL POSITIONS INCLUDED
When?
- Sunday, June 5th, 2022, 9am-1pm
- 15-18 year olds – 9am-11:30am
- Colts – 9am-11:30am
- 12-14 year olds – 11:30am-1pm
Where?
- Foothills Fieldhouse – 111 Exploration Ave SE
What Does the Combine Include?
The RAW Sports Elite Football Combine will provide players with verified testing numbers using Zybeks trusted testing equipment which is used at the NFL Combine and the Olympic Training Centre. Players will be tested in the following events:
- 40 Yard Dash
- 20 Yard Short Shuttle
- Vertical Jump
- Broad Jump
- Bench Press
Groups will be divided into 2-3 hour increments by age, which will be determined closer to the event. With multiple standardized combines taking place in different cities through RAW between April-July, athletes will be able to compare their testing numbers to other athletes across Western Canada.
Standardized testing is an incredibly useful tool to measure an athletes growth over time, to compare how athletes stack up against their competition, and is also a tool that most University scouting departments look for in determining an athletes athletic profile.
