Description
Group Session Mentorship Program
Delivered fully online. Accessible from anywhere.
The Group Session Mentorship Program is an eight-session, position-specific football IQ and film coaching program designed for athletes in Grades 8–12 who want to understand the game at a higher level.
This is not a physical training program. It is a live, coach-led learning environment where athletes are taught to see the game, recognize situations, and process information as advanced high school, university, and professional players do.
Sessions are interactive, structured, and coached in real time. Athletes are called on, asked questions, corrected when needed, and guided through concepts that go beyond standard high school team meetings.
What Registration Includes
When an athlete registers, they receive:
-
Live weekly group coaching sessions (one per week, eight total)
- Seminars that included academic advising, sport nutrition guidelines, and conversations led by notable athletes/coaches. (biweekly, four total)
-
Session recordings are provided after each meeting
-
Position-specific coaching led by experienced coaches
-
University and professional game film are used to teach concepts and standards
-
Live Q&A and coach feedback during every session
-
Structured knowledge checks to ensure understanding and retention
This program is fully online and can be completed from any location, including outside of Calgary.
How the Program Works
-
The program follows an eight-session progressive curriculum
-
Each session builds on the previous one
-
Sessions are position-specific and led by a dedicated coach
-
Coaches teach responsibilities, coverages, fronts, reads, and recognitions
-
Athletes actively participate through discussion and knowledge checks
Because the curriculum is structured and progressive, live attendance is strongly encouraged.
If an athlete misses a session, the recording is available, but missed sessions cannot be re-run or replaced.
Who This Program Is For
-
Athletes in Grades 8–12
-
Players who want to improve their football IQ and game understanding
-
Athletes preparing for higher levels of play
-

Some concepts may go beyond the high school level, especially for advanced athletes.
What This Program Is Not
-
Not a physical training or on-field program
-
Not a replacement for team practices
-
Not passive film watching or prerecorded content
The value of this program lies in the coach-on-screen, live feedback, and the ability to ask questions and learn directly from experienced position coaches.
