Football athletes ages 13–18

Program Structure (2026 Summer Block)

Length: June 1 – August 15 (11 Weeks)
Start Date: Monday, June 1
End Date: Saturday, August 15
Format: In-person training

This is a structured summer performance block designed to prepare athletes for fall training camp.


Weekly Training Schedule

Strength & Conditioning (Gym – 90 Minutes)

Monday / Wednesday / Friday

What the Program Includes

The RAW Sports Medicine Hat Summer Performance Program delivers a complete football-specific development curriculum built to improve:

  • Strength

  • Speed

  • Power

  • Durability

  • On-field transfer

This is structured football preparation — not general fitness training.


Strength & Conditioning

  • Progressive resistance training

  • Squat, hinge, press, and Olympic-style variations

  • Power development and force production

  • Accessory strength for injury resilience

  • Mobility and joint durability work

Programming progresses across the full 11-week block.


Speed Development

  • Acceleration mechanics

  • Linear sprint exposure

  • Change-of-direction training

  • Plyometric progression

  • Movement efficiency

Technical, coached sessions focused on true speed development.


Football Field Development

  • Position-specific fundamentals

  • Applied movement drills

  • Competition reps

  • Game-speed execution

  • Transfer of gym and speed work to football

5 coached sessions per week
3 gym sessions

11-week structured summer performance block
Fully supervised, coach-led training environment


Training Capacity

To maintain coaching quality and proper athlete-to-coach ratios, group numbers are capped.

If registration exceeds capacity, a second gym training block (7:30 – 9:00 PM on M/W/F) may open. Speed and field sessions remain the same for all athletes.

Athletes who register early will be placed in the 6:00 PM training block. Later training time requests will not be accommodated unless the second group threshold is reached.
