Anthony Greco scored three rushing touchdowns for NW but it wasn’t quite enough. The SE Cardinals handled the SAT Cardinals 33-19, with Axel Smith scoring three times and Caeden Wong and Blake Harrison each adding rushing touchdowns. Brooks Bozko scored twice for SAT.

Another tight week in U8. The NW Snowbirds held off the NE Cardinals 13-12, with Leon Langlais and Trey Chibhukira scoring on the ground and Chibhukira’s convert proving to be the difference. The NW Bird Gang beat the SAT Cardinals 30-22, with Eli Woodson scoring three rushing touchdowns and Brayden McFarlane connecting with Jace Piche for a passing score. The NW Cardinals handled the SE Cardinals 26-6 behind rushing touchdowns from Charles Rendle, Austin Kosowan, and Vaughn Sourisseau. The SE Bird Gang shut out the SW Cardinals 6-0, with Nico Pesowski scoring the only touchdown of the game.

A fantastic week of U10 football. Ben Lydiatt had a big two-way game as NW Bird Gang beat NW Marvins Marvels 32-12, scoring two rushing touchdowns and returning an interception for a score. Caleb Harnum did it all for the NE Cardinals in an 18-12 win over NW Snowbirds, catching a touchdown and recording an interception and sack on defense. The SAT Cardinals held on 22-19 over the SW Bird Gang, with Nash Hebblethwaite finding Bravan Blazevic for a passing score and Kolton Hale and Otis Sommerfeld each making plays on both sides of the ball for SW. The SW Cardinals beat the SE Cardinals 28-12 behind three touchdowns from Eski Makin and two passing scores from Tucker Smith. The best finish of the week came in the final U10 game, where the SE Snowbirds edged the SE Bird Gang 19-18 on the strength of two rushing touchdowns from Kyrie Prince. Roman Cheeseman had a big game for the Bird Gang with three touchdowns but it wasn’t quite enough.
Player Spotlight, Eski Makin, U10 SW Cardinals: Three touchdowns on the day, two receiving and one rushing, plus a two-point convert return. Eski Makin was simply unstoppable and the best player on the field in U10.

U12 was full of standout performances this week. Grayson Rachiele threw three touchdown passes to lead the NW Snowbirds past the NE Cardinals 27-18. Connor Balla had a big game for the NW Cardinals in a 54-26 win over NW Night Train, catching two touchdowns, scoring on the ground, and recording three interceptions. The NW Tillmans edged the SW Tillmans 20-19, with Andre Lombardo-Schumack throwing a touchdown and scoring twice on the ground. The SW Night Train shut out the NW AZ Heat 30-0, with Ellar Makin and Isaac Lyte both returning interceptions for touchdowns. Two games ended in ties, SAT Cardinals and SW Marvins Marvels played to a 6-6 draw, as did SAT Bird Gang and SW Snowbirds. Ira Wirsta was the story of the SE Cardinals’ 50-6 win over SW Bird Gang, throwing two touchdowns, catching one, scoring on the ground, and returning two interceptions for scores. The SE Bird Gang beat the SW Cardinals 20-14 behind a sharp two-way game from Sawyer Koch. The SE Snowbirds beat SE Marvins Marvels 21-0, with Dax Howie-Christensen picking off two passes on defense.

The game of the week in U14 was NW Bird Gang’s 39-34 win over NW Marvins Marvels. Dylan Erichsen went 5-for-6 with five touchdown passes while Luke Strowger answered with four of his own. Luciano Mancini was flawless for the NE Cardinals in a 64-21 win over NW Snowbirds, going 5-for-5 with five touchdown passes and returning two interceptions for scores. Cian Cole was the difference in the NW Night Train’s 32-28 win over NW Cardinals, recording a sack, two pick-six returns, and a rushing score. Remi Clattenburg went 4-for-4 with four touchdown passes as the NW Tillmans Troopers beat the SW Snowbirds 32-6. The SAT Bird Gang put together a strong performance in a 61-0 win over the SW Cardinals, with Malcolm Grecu connecting with Elliott Laird for a passing score and Maverick Wolfe adding a rushing touchdown. The SAT Cardinals handled the SW Bird Gang 20-7. Marcus Barrett had a big game in the SE Bird Gang’s 53-8 win over SE Cardinals, catching three touchdowns, returning two interceptions for scores, and throwing one himself.
Player Spotlight, Luciano Mancini, U14 NE Cardinals: Perfect 5-for-5, five touchdown passes, two interceptions returned for touchdowns. Luciano Mancini was flawless on Saturday. That kind of two-way dominance is rare at any level.

A strong week of U16 football. Thomas Meyers went 4-for-4 with four touchdown passes as the NE Cardinals beat the NW Snowbirds 28-0, with Aiden Leung catching two scores and Preston Stiff adding two two-point converts. The NW Marvins Marvels beat NW Bird Gang 36-8, with Emerson Thatcher going 3-for-3 with three touchdowns and Nick Strowger hauling in three scoring catches. Amelie Ansell was the story of the SAT Cardinals’ 28-21 win over NW Cardinals, returning two interceptions for touchdowns in a game decided by one score. The SW Bird Gang beat the SE Cardinals 33-0 behind a strong performance from Scott Piovoso, who scored two interception return touchdowns, added a rushing score, and recorded a sack. Tanner Hill continued his strong season with a perfect 3-for-3, three-touchdown performance in the SE Bird Gang’s 28-14 win over SW Cardinals.
