RAW Sports Media Release

Version 2026.1 · Effective September 30 2026 · Consent to the use of photographs, video and sound recordings

 

RAW Sports creates media in the course of its programs, including filming and video production, photography and photo editing, documentary production, sound recordings and material for its website and social media.

In this document, “Participant” means the person named below who takes part in a RAW Sports camp, league, program or event. Where the Participant is under the age of 18, this consent is given by their parent or legal guardian.

 

What you are agreeing to

This consent is optional. The Participant’s place in any RAW Sports program does not depend on it, and you may say no without affecting their registration in any way.

If you consent, you permit RAW Sports to capture and use images, video and sound recordings of the Participant in any media, for purposes which may include advertising, promotion, marketing, recruitment and packaging for any RAW Sports product, program or service. You agree that such material may be combined with other images, text and graphics, cropped, altered or modified. RAW Sports retains the rights to the material it creates, and no further consideration, accounting or payment is owed for its use.

 

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to RAW Sports. On receiving your request we will stop using the material going forward, and will remove it from channels we control within a reasonable period. We may be unable to recall material already printed, distributed or published by third parties, and this consent remains effective for that material.

 

Governing law

This agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties in respect of its subject matter, its terms are contractual and not a mere recital, and it will be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.

 

Parent or guardian

I am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant named below, and I have legal authority to give this consent on their behalf. I have read and fully understood this document.
