What Does the Football Camp Include?

Shells football is a progressive new form of training developed to help players gain the benefits of contact football training without the higher risks of injury. Shell’s football involves athletes getting a feel for wearing equipment, and learning the proper way to initiate contact without tackling or blocking the opposing player to the ground. Equipment will include only uppers (helmet, shoulder pads, and shorts) and drills are designed to develop proper technique, explosiveness, and overall football skills without ever going full contact.

The usual camp routine will include individual position training, proper tackling and blocking training, one on ones, full pass skelly, along with numerous other drills to develop successful football players. All competitive periods will be filmed and practices will include film sessions which will help accelerate players development and teach players how to watch film. Camp will accommodate all positions, and experience levels.

As with all RAW camps, the RAW Spring Shells camp will emphasize “competitive fun” in a structured but informal setting. Participants will be measured on progress and encouraged to improve through positive reinforcement. Hard work, discipline, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, commitment, goal setting, mental toughness, pride & passion will all be emphasized by a wide variety of experienced trainers (CFL, CIS, High School and/or NCCP Certification)

We will be uploading filmed competitive periods onto hudl which players will have access to.
