Davin Bankebabone: Airdrie’s Rising MVP 

Every once in a while, a young athlete steps into a competitive environment and proves he belongs immediately. Davin Bankebabone is that athlete. 

The Airdrie native earned Younger Offensive MVP while competing against top talent from across Canada, many of them older and more experienced. It wasn’t just about performance. It was about presence, confidence, and showing he could lead at a high level. 

And for Davin, it’s only the beginning. 

Built Through Competition

Davin has already built an impressive résumé early in his career. His list of accolades includes All-Star RAW MVP, Selects MVP, Team MVP, League MVP, Offensive Player of the Game at the AB Western Challenge, and recognition as Best QB. 

These aren’t just awards, they reflect consistency and impact every time he steps on the field. 

Despite not having any college offers yet, his trajectory is clear. Players who perform like this don’t stay unnoticed for long.

Davin describes himself as “calm, competitive, dog.” 

It shows in the way he plays. He stays composed under pressure, competes on every rep, and brings an edge that elevates the players around him. Whether it’s making the right read or stepping up in big moments, he’s a quarterback his team can rely on.

For Davin, one game stands above the rest. 

“City championships 48–49 against the Colts. We started that game down by 21 points at halftime then came all the way back and kicked a field goal for the win. It was awesome, best game I’ve ever been a part of!” 

It’s the kind of moment that builds confidence, and defines the type of player he is.

What RAW Elite Camp MVP Means

Being named Younger Offensive Camp MVP carried real meaning for Davin. 

“It meant a lot because it showed that I can play with people my age and above from all over Canada.” 

That validation matters. It’s proof that his game translates, no matter the competition.

Looking Ahead

Davin’s goals are clear. 

“My dream goal for college is to go D1 in the States and play for a top school with a starting spot.” 

With his mindset, work ethic, and early success, he’s building toward that future every day. Davin’s story is just getting started. But this is a strong first chapter.
